Mooi fotoboek met vooral veel portretten en mensen in actie. Maar het meest bijzondere is wel dat de introductie (13 blz) geschreven is door Dervla Murphy, de Engelse reizigster die veel delen van de wereld met de fiets, of met een ezel, verkende. Ze schreef daar zo’n 20 boeken over, waarvan er helaas maar één is vertaald in het Nederlands: Voetsporen in de Andes.
